Reference 1680 was launched in 1967 and represents the very first Submariner with a date function.
The present specimen is particularly charming and directly comes from the original owner.
The tritium of the indexes and the hands have turned in a very worm and charming ivory tone harmoniously combined with the black background.
The black matte reveals some natural light spots and features the sought-after “Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified” designation and the “660ft=200m” depth writing at 6 o’clock position.
