SOLDExceedingly rare Steel Patek Philippe ref. 5004A/001, manufactured in 2013.
First introduced in 1996 reference 5004 is among Patek Philippe’s most important wristwatches featuring the highest level of complication. It represents the first split-seconds perpetual calendar chronograph wristwatch produced in series. The oversized crown with the addition of the split-seconds mechanism and its Lemania based movement are the most recognisable features of the timepiece.
The importance of this specimen is elevated by its rarity: within the overall production, only 40 examples were cased in steel. Preserved in pristine condition, it stands out for the magnificent white dial with the black indexes which give a unique appeal to this superb timepiece.
The present 5004A is complete with its Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin, additional numbered case back, leather portfolio, wallet, and fitted presentation box.
