Very rare and elegant 18k yellow gold Patek Philippe ref. 2427, manufactured in 1950 circa.
Produced in a small quantity starting from 1948, reference 2427 represents one the most appreciated and well know mid-century rectangular designs wristwatches created by Patek Philippe.
The big and fancy lugs are a distinctive feature of this reference with their trapezoidal shape.
The charming dial has naturally aged with a beautiful patina and features “Patek Philippe Geneve’' across two lines, ”Swiss'' at the bottom and the seconds register at 6 o’clock position. It is also enhanced by the charming oxidation of the yellow gold baton applied indexes.
The beautiful case still retains very deep hallmark on the side.
